Site analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager to understand how the site is used (searches, results, booking clicks). Google acts as a data processor. We do not use advertising, remarketing, or share data with marketing partners. You can reject analytics cookies at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
First-party service data
We internally record searches, “Book” clicks, and feedback widget responses on our servers to improve Sarebus. This data is not used for advertising and is not shared with marketing partners. The feedback widget does not ask for personal data. In your browser we store only minimal flags for the current session so we do not repeat the same form (no personal identifiers).
Affiliate links
On selected routes and operators, the “Book” button may redirect you to Omio via affiliate links. If you purchase through those links, Sarebus may receive a commission that helps us keep the comparator free. Booking always completes on the operator's or partner's website; in some cases you will see an intermediate page with more information before continuing.
Infrastructure logs
Our CDN (Amazon CloudFront) logs HTTP requests (path, status code, referrer) for operational purposes. These logs do not require analytics cookies and are stored in AWS for a limited period.
Retention
Analytics data in GA4 is retained for up to 14 months. Your cookie choice is stored locally in your browser (eb_analytics_consent key). Your last search is stored locally for convenience (lastTripSearch) and is not shared with Google.
